An abundance of parks, schools, and amenities has led families to flock to this neighbourhood north of Danforth, and is conveniently located a few minutes' drive to the core of the city. Although this east-end area of Toronto has grown exponentially in the past twenty years, the small-town friendliness remains.

It offers a natural, historic, and cultural cross-section of Toronto through the decades.

There’s never a dull moment in this family-friendly neighbourhood, with the many annual community activities such as Summerfest and Winterfest. Year-round activities span from ice skating at Riverdale Park to indoor swims at the East York Community Centre.   Whether you want to sit on a bench with a good book in the many parks just a short stroll from the neighbourhood or browse the local shops and vendors you will never run out of ideas to keep you and your family entertained.

      Transit.

        The neighbourhood.

Trinity-Bellwoods is one of the city's most sought-after neighbourhoods, named for and anchored by the historic Trinity Bellwoods Park. Originally the site of Trinity College and the now-buried Garrison Creek, the building stood on these grounds until 1950. The restored gates that mark the entrance of the park are the last remnants of this time. Today, the 4.6 hectare park features three ball diamonds, eight tennis courts, two volleyball courts, an artificial ice rink, a dog off-leash area, a picnic area, a wading pool, a children's playground, and the Trinity Community Recreation Centre.

Trinity-Bellwoods offers an eclectic mix of restaurants, bespoke boutiques, eco-conscious specialty stores, locally sourced grocery, and an incredible arts scene along its main arteries on Queen Street West, Dundas Street West, and Bathurst Street. Despite the hustle and bustle, Trinity-Bellwoods also boasts charming, tree-lined streets housing a mix of century Victorian and Edwardian homes.

Because it offers the best of both worlds, the area attracts families and young professionals. There's an abundance of good local schools, lush parks, a lively nightlife, and community-driven initiatives. Artscape Youngplace is a cultural hub devoted to artistic creation, learning, and collaboration.

        Transit.

8 Robinson Street boasts a perfect transit score. Nearby streetcar lines include 501 Queen, 505 Dundas and 511 Bathurst. These streetcar lines connect to Line 1 and Line 2 on the subway line, which will get you anywhere in the downtown core in just a few stops. An abundance of parks, schools, and amenities have led young families to flock to the Danforth neighbourhood, making this a vibrant neighbouhood conveniently a few minutes’ drive to the core of the city. Although this east end area of Toronto has grown exponentially in the past twenty years, the small-town friendliness that has been a Danforth trademark since its formation still remains.

Danforth is well known for its colourful array of fruit markets, bakeries, coffee shops, clothing and accessory stores, and Toronto’s best selection of Greek restaurants on the Danforth. You can walk to Todmorden Mills Park and Heritage Site, which features restored 19th-century buildings and a beautiful wildflower preserve. It offers a natural, historic, and cultural cross-section of Toronto through the decades.

There’s never a dull moment in this family-friendly neighbourhood, with several community centres offering free recreation programs and events. Year-round activities span from ice skating at Riverdale Park to indoor swims at the East York Community Centre to outdoor swims and impromptu baseball games at Stan Wadlow Park to tennis at The East York Tennis Club.

                Transit.

                    Meet the neighbours

We hope that you will be as happy as we have been in this great place!

A warm welcome to the neighbourhood from the sellers.

"11 years ago, we moved to Milton from downtown Toronto with our daughter looking for a quiet and peaceful community. We watched her grow and enjoy the best things in Milton: playing on the street with the neighbourhood kids, riding scooters and bikes everywhere, and playing at the park until late at night. We enjoyed living on the friendliest street: street parties full of barbecues, bouncy castles and fireworks, and family movie nights outdoors.

In the last two years, we have been enjoying walking to the brand new community centre with a library, ice rink and swimming pool. A brand new plaza that is only 5 minutes away has a daycare centre, barbershop, restaurants, spa, and a doctor’s and dentist’s office. One of the best things about Milton and what made us choose it is the Niagara Escarpment. Within a 10 minute drive, you have access to 6 conservation areas with endless trails and several activities centres."
