    The neighbourhood.

Trinity-Bellwoods is one of the city's most sought-after neighbourhoods, named for and anchored by the historic Trinity Bellwoods Park. Originally the site of Trinity College and the now-buried Garrison Creek, the building stood on these grounds until 1950. The restored gates that mark the entrance of the park are the last remnants of this time. Today, the 4.6 hectare park features three ball diamonds, eight tennis courts, two volleyball courts, an artificial ice rink, a dog off-leash area, a picnic area, a wading pool, a children's playground, and the Trinity Community Recreation Centre.

Trinity-Bellwoods offers an eclectic mix of restaurants, bespoke boutiques, eco-conscious specialty stores, locally sourced grocery, and an incredible arts scene along its main arteries on Queen Street West, Dundas Street West, and Bathurst Street. Despite the hustle and bustle, Trinity-Bellwoods also boasts charming, tree-lined streets housing a mix of century Victorian and Edwardian homes.

Because it offers the best of both worlds, the area attracts families and young professionals. There's an abundance of good local schools, lush parks, a lively nightlife, and community-driven initiatives. Artscape Youngplace is a cultural hub devoted to artistic creation, learning, and collaboration.

    Transit.

993 Queen Street Wests boasts a near-perfect transit score. Nearby streetcar lines include 501 Queen, 301 Queen, 504 King and 304 King just minutes from your doorstep.  The nearest transit stop, Shaw St. at Queen St. West, is a mere one-minute walk from home making it a convenient location to anywhere in Toronto.

              The neighbourhood.

Beaconsfield is popular with members of Toronto's arts community who have gradually migrated westward along Queen Street to the unique and funky houses and studios found in this neighbourhood. The colourful shopping district on Dundas Street West features an eclectic mix of Portuguese markets, established cafes, and emerging restaurants. Queen Street West is home to a mix of boutique clothing stores, art galleries, and artisanal restaurants and bakeries. In the day, residents can be found biking and jogging in Trinity-Bellwoods Park, and at night, the scene comes alive in local haunts like The Drake Hotel, the Gladstone Hotel, Bellwoods Brewery, and bars along Ossington Avenue.

The Argyle Lofts sit on the former site of the Ideal Bread Factory, constructed in 1919 by Montreal architect Sydney Comber. The 5-storey building is an excellent example of Edwardian classical style applied to an industrial building. Additions to the north along Dovercourt in 1923 and 1933 were also designed by Comber. In use as a bakery until 1957, this building was converted to residential lofts in 2007. The factory clock still remains above the front entrance. Original architectural and engineering drawings for the building can be found in the Toronto Archives.

              Transit.

With a transit score of 92, 183 Dovercourt Road is within walking distance to both the 505 Dundas streetcar and the 501 Queen streetcar. Both run east to subway stations connecting to Line 1. As well, the 63 Ossington bus, a few blocks away, runs north and south along Ossington Avenue, connecting to Line 2 at Ossington station.

2300 St. Clair Avenue West is situated in The Stockyards District and is steps from the trendy Junction, a hip and happening neighbourhood that has a nice community feel.

This area is seeing the development of big-box stores on the site of the former stockyards at St. Clair Avenue and Weston Road, but the neighbourhood still retains a small-village feel with plenty of family-friendly activities and festivals year-round. West of Keele and Dundas, the streetscape is teeming with new restaurants, independent shops, and a conglomeration of stores specializing in vintage interiors.  Enjoy coffee from the local coffee shops while window shopping or experiment with the exciting local restaurants in the area.

The Stockyards District echoes the ingenuity of one of Toronto's best neighbourhoods.
